The Surreal Estate Agents are coming back to Melbourne!

The Tasmanian based group have been working on new material since the release of their album ‘House Inspection’ which was followed by a 2017 tour of Australia, supporting artists such as Neil Finn, The Wolfe Brothers, Dan Sultan and Killing Heidi.

The Agents will be performing March 30th at Grace Darling Hotel with Melbourne based legends Turtle Wave & Froot Luips.

Turtle Wave:
Turtle Wave are a five piece psych rock maximalist band, influenced by the sounds of psych, jazz, surf, hip hop and prog. Formed in early 2018, with members from diverse musical backgrounds, Turtle Wave bring a high-energy live show that funnels their eclectic influences into a mixture that's as groovy as it is dreamy, as relentlessly playful as it is intensely potent, and as genre-bending as it is mind-boggling.

Froot Luips:
Froot Luips are 5 psychos from Melbourne who are all just keen on jams, experimenting with music and accelerating the universe into a faster heat death.

A wobbly infusion of swirling shoegaze, kaleidoscopic fuzz, energetic disco vibes and soaring vocals, ZUMA has spent the last 3 years moulding their sound into colourful bedroom mixtures of psych-tinged pop-rock.

Split between Geelong and Melbourne, the band is starting to draw some serious attention locally with support slots for Confidence Man, Japanese Wallpaper and MYTHS, festival billings at By The Meadow and Grampians Music Festival (Emerging Artist), as well as drawing the attention of Triple J’s Home and Hosed presenter Declan Byrne. Acknowledging ZUMA as a “hidden musical gem of coastal Victoria”.

Get down to The Grace Darling for what will be an absolutely huge night of music, with amazing support acts to be announced.

Lots of fresh ZUMA merch available for purchase on the night.

Vic Park is the new indie rock outfit fronted by longtime Melbourne musician, Jack Poulson.

Having recently recorded a full-length album in Nashville, Tennessee, with Australian producer Josh Barber (Gotye, Gretta Ray), the band will be releasing a fresh single in early April. The launch party at the Grace Darling on Friday April 12 is not to be missed.

Poulson has previously released two EPs and one LP under the moniker JP Klipspringer, with singles Bury Me, I Blame Carl Weathers, Watch the River and The Beast enjoying national airplay on Triple J as well as strong support from community radio stations across the country. Vic Park represents a fresh start (of sorts), with the new material building on the artist's ability to craft catchy and arresting guitar pop.

Equal parts Australiana and Americana, Vic Park's impending debut album sees nods nods to the great indie era of the late 90s and early 2000s, while some early listeners have compared the new style to a meeting of You Am I and Ryan Adams, or Stephen Malkmus (Pavement) and Wilco.

Support from local favourite Slowcoaching.
