NOIRE are Jessica Mincher and Billy James, following up their self-released EP Baby Blue in 2015, NOIRE have
just announced the release of their debut album ‘Some Kind of Blue’, due September 29 via Spunk Records, along with a Melbourne launch date at The Grace Darling on Friday November 17.

Growing up in the small regional town of Gympie, QLD before moving to Sydney where they formed in 2014, NOIRE craft dark, melodic and tenderly sculptured pop songs that traverse shoegaze, reverb heavy blues
and indie rock.

Some Kind of Blue was produced by Wayne Connelly (Underground Lovers, You Am I, The Vines). Citing
inspiration from Air, Mazzy Star, David Lynch, Wim Wenders and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, ‘Some Kind of
Blue’ is a cinematic soundscape charting the fluidity of love and loneliness.

Having toured across the US in 2015 and playing alongside the likes of Cold War Kids, Slum Sociable, Alex
Lahey and Homeshake, NOIRE are known for their intoxicating, intimate live performances.

Australian singer/songwriter STU LARSEN returns with his new album RESOLUTE.

These days, Stu Larsen lives out of a suitcase. You might find the nomadic musician somewhere between his native Australia, Spain or Japan, before he picks up and sets off for the next destination. In support of his 2014 debut album Vagabond, Larsen brought his music to the masses with a spate global tours which gained him international recognition. Along the way Larsen began collating ideas for his 2017 follow up album Resolute. The album then came together in various locations around the globe, from a cottage in Scotland, an apartment in Spain, and an old army bunker back in Australia. Larsen shares an important message in Resolute. “I hope everyone can…” he leaves off. “Too often, we just switch off and don’t think enough. Hopefully, these songs can spark something positive in listeners. Live simply. Don’t worry about the excesses. I hope everyone can come together around this music.”

Don’t miss the chance to catch him live!
